 Have you ever thought about becoming a nurse?

The Bureau of Labor Statistics says that it's the fastest growing career with the median pay being around 65K. The government website seems to encourage people to go into nursing as it says the country will need over 1 million new nurses by 2020. They know that the huge numbers of people turning 65 as well as many current nurses retiring is setting up for a large nursing shortage in the near future. 

But have you tried to get into nursing school lately? It seems that everyone has read the same information and has applied to become a nurse. So now there are long waiting lists to get in with ton of pre-requisite courses (sometimes as many as 15 courses) before you can EVEN APPLY to the RN programs. Outrageous!
